ROJ LINUX is a Kurdish Linux operating system that combines the best that free, open source software has to offer (community involved, freely distributed, open source code, etc.).

ROJ Linux is a Kurdish Debian-Ubuntu based Linux distribution. It is available in two versions:

• ROJ-KDE based, complete version includes legally-licensed, 3rd party codecs, drivers and software, to offer better hardware, file type, and multimedia support. Roj Linux includes turn-key, out-of-the-box support for MP3, Music, Movie players, OpenOffice, many games, applications, and so on.

• ROJ-GNOME based is entirely in Kurmanci and uses only open source software. Roj-Gnome  includes turn-key, out-of-the-box support for MP3, Music, Movie players, OpenOffice, many games, applications, and so on. It comes with VirtualBox  to run another Operating System in linux, such as Windows XP.
